We are looking for you,

Turnaround Scheduler

to our Turnaround team in Neste Tuas Singapore.

You will focus on developing efficient and effective work package planning for TA work requests and developing the overall TA integrated schedule. In this job you will work closely with Turnaround Manager to deliver predictable and competitive TAs in a uniform way that achieve our business targets and goals.

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future

  • Develop detailed planning steps incorporating safety concerns and site requirements, for both Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for TAs.
  • Develop complete TA work packages ready for execution.
  • Coordinate with PMC, Asset Integrity & Reliability team, Warehouse team, Procurement team and contractors or vendors for TA work package preparations.
  • Engage field execution counterpart during planning stage, for efficient handover of TA work package.
  • Develop detailed TA planning steps for work requests, prepare materials or spare parts required, create & release inventory PR, generate MR for stock items.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement team to source for non-stock materials and external services, create PR upon alignment with PMC and field execution personnel.
  • Coordinate with PMC, contractors and vendors for the TA execution window.
  • Prepare and create initial Invoice Proposal in Bio+ before TA execution, and perform final Invoicing Allow upon job completion.
  • Input and maintain the detailed job plan data, (job steps, logic, resources, etc.) into Primavera 6 to develop the TA integrated Schedule.
  • Develop SIMOPS plan to be incorporated into the TA schedule.
  • Report planning status, estimated completion dates and preparation status to the TA team.
  • Leads and facilitates the scheduling process, compiles the basis of schedule, communicates the schedule status and provides the analysis to TA management.
  • Calculates the TA progress, forecasts it and reviews the results with project management.
  • Prepare TA reports for KPI tracking.
Keys to success in this role
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical in the same position for 3 years.
  • Experienced in turnaround planning and scheduling, strong in scheduling tools - MS Projects, Primavera.
  • Strong communication negotiation and business sense
  • Strong collaboration spirit
  • Willingness to speak and up and challenge status quo.
