Fuchsia Lane, a luxury fashion label established since 2007, with a prestigious clientele, aims to expand internationally. We are looking to groom a team of Tailors who take pride in their craft to join Fuchsia Lane.
Prior tailoring experience is required. Candidates who just graduated or mid career switchers with a passion for sewing will be considered for junior positions as training and progression will be provided.

You will report to the Creative Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform full detailed drafting, cutting and sewing works for both womenswear and/or menswear
- Inspecting and ensuring that garments are completed per our sewing standards and in good condition prior to delivery to clients and selling
- Able to design, draft paper patterns and cut fabrics according to paper patterns
- Able to draft and create paper patterns digitally a bonus
- Assist the team to set benchmarks in quality sewing standards and brand awareness
- Servicing our distinguished clientele by taking their measurements accurately for bespoke orders and recommending designs suitable for them
- passionate about bespoke tailoring and perfecting fine couture techniques while developing new artisanal methodologies.
- Able to perform meticulous sewing and alteration techniques (e.g. handling of fine fabrics, sewing of invisible zip, hemming, hand-sewing buttons, sewing of lace applique)
- willing to go beyond the extra mile and put in the extra hours to ensure the success of fashion shoots and projects through collaborative team work
- Organised with an eye for detail
- Able to take ownership and do what it takes to finish beautiful works.
- Independent yet an effective and trustworthy team player
- Willing to communicate and learn
Crafting skills - fine stitching skills and comfortable with handling different types of fine fabrics such as silks, laces, chiffons and satins.
Creativity - always looking for new ways to solve problems, an interest in fashion trends and good eye on colour tones and fabric compositions.
Customer Service - able to articulate well in spoken English and Mandarin and enjoy interacting with clients during appointments to understand their tastes
