The talent landscape is changing rapidly. The talent engagement and insights team exists to ensure that we can continue to engage, attract and retain the most exceptional and diverse talent.

Talent engagement and insights team is part of the Singapore Talent team and exists as a hybrid between Talent Attraction and Acquisition (TA²) and HR business consultant construct.
As a research, advisory and solutioning team, we enable insights-based decision making for variety of internal services and solutions with key objectives to shape, enhance and communicate EY employer value proposition. Through collaboration with the wider talent team, key outputs from the team seek to:

  • influence and inform overall talent strategy
  • drive internal and external talent attraction and engagement initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle across 4 service lines.

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in building innovative, scalable HR programs and form internal/external partnerships to attract the best talent.
Core scope includes:
  • Conduct current and future outreach analysis to identify and cultivate new community stakeholders, with intent to develop win-win strategy to increase reach to target demographic segments
  • Spearhead the design, implementation and management of HR programmes (including but not limited to talent attraction) that drive community engagement or enhance value propositions of an EY career. This includes defining key performance metrics, service level agreements for core programs and track delivery against program objectives
  • Lead the conceptualization, development and execution of the key annual stakeholders/attraction engagement events
  • Manage and track budget / expenses, and support analytics, including program measurement and reporting
  • Research, analyse data and interpret trends and patterns across varied data sources to generate useful insights and data driven decision making to influence decisions across initiatives through employee life cycle
  • Represent the firm at external talent attraction and/or industry networking events

Skills and attributes for success
Prior experiences in talent acquisition, outreach and engagement, market intelligence, employment branding, program design and other similar areas.
To qualify for the role you should ideally be

  • Degree holder with 3 – 5 years of relevant working experiences
  • Is a creative and analytical creator; this is a new role within the team, with opportunities to create and experiment
  • Be strong in project and program management fundamentals, including stakeholder management, milestone tracking, change and risk management etc
  • Be meticulous, data-oriented, tenacious and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Possesses strong teamwork, problem-solving, and execution skills
  • Can effectively prioritize and navigate competing requests from a variety of stakeholders and customer groups
  • Is able to earn trust and influence others to drive actions
  • Work collaboratively with other teams including L&D, HR Business Partners and service lines
  • Is independent and self-driven, with the ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment with minimal guidance, demonstrating good judgment.
  • Be passionate about attracting talent and ensuring good candidate experience
  • Possess a good track record in managing sizable cohorts, delivering learning pathways and positive outcomes in program strategies
