Our Financial Services Tax Group focuses on corporate tax consulting, controversy and compliance services for clients in the financial services industry, which encompasses banking & capital markets, insurance and asset management. Our highly trained specialty team is equipped to provide solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
The opportunity:
In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to innovate and re-design the operating model to deliver exceptional client services while championing for transformation or change initiatives. You will also be able to rally the cause and change in organization behaviours and execution norm, develop metrices to measure effectiveness, ensure regular evaluations and reviews and cultivate a spirit of excellence and innovation.
Your key responsibilities
With your passion in innovation and digital transformation, you will be able to react, innovate and optimize the client delivery model and bring the business’ strategy to life in delivering lower-cost, lower-risk and future-forward operations that underpin profitable growth. You will work together with our teams across Asia-Pac Tax, Client Technology, Tax Technology, Risk Management and Legal to plan and deploy game-changing cognitive and digital technology to reduce costs, maximize efficiency, transform processes, and benefit from innovative models.
Your excellent stakeholder management and project management skills will position you as a trusted technology and innovation advisor. You will have the opportunity to exercise critical thinking skills and agile management to get projects running up to speed. Finally, you will work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Skills and attributes for success


  • Genuine interest in innovation and technology

  • Ability to build strong and lasting working relationships, both internally and externally

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for attention to detail

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Exceptional project management experience with a successful track record of managing projects and programs of work, end to end and in accordance to timelines, budget and outcomes
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in a client-facing environment or in project management, operations management, strategy planning and change management
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills – highly skilled at articulating messages to different stakeholder groups, building new relationships, facilitating discussions with business leaders/leadership groups and seen as a trusted project advisor
  • Outstanding organisational skills and multi-tasking capability
  • Expert knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel

Ideally, you’ll also have
  • A technology background with experience in software development, design, emerging tech, automation and data analytics
  • Prior experience with working with legal, risk management, technology and procurement teams
  • Previous experience of working in tax or professional services
  • Accreditation by SIATP
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork within or outside a work setting
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability. Logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues.
