We are looking for a Communications Team Lead for Neste\'s communications in Singapore.

In your role as Team Lead, Communications, you will

  • Drive Neste\'s reputation management in Asia Pacific region
  • Plan, execute and budget Neste\'s external and internal impactful and proactive communications in Asia, and in Singapore in particular, and in alignment with Neste\'s global communications strategy
  • Establish an overarching activity plan to align collective efforts and optimize impact
  • Manage media relations, social media, issues management and crisis communications locally, and in cooperation with global communications team
  • Support Neste\'s businesses in their communications in Asia Pacific region
  • Support Neste\'s spokesporson in communications in the region
  • Lead the regional communications team
You will be based in Singapore, and you will cooperate with regional product marketing, public affairs and sustainability teams, as well as with your global communications team, and you will work closely with regional production and businesses leadership teams. You will be a member of the global Communications team, and you will report to the Vice President, Communications.

The best combination to success in this role:
  • Relevant academic degree, preferably Master\'s Degree
  • Background in communications in global B2B business
  • 10+ years of deep experience in strategic communications, PR, crisis communications, media relations, issues management and digital communications & social media
  • Strong leadership and project management experience
  • Awareness and interest in circular economy, sustainable transportation, and other sustainable solutions in combating climate change
  • Willingness and ability to network and cooperate effectively with colleagues across Neste and external partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentations skills
  • Fluency in English, other languages, e.g Japanese is a plus
  • Proactive and energetic approach to work
  • Collaborative, positive attitude and team-oriented ways of working
