About the Department: Delivery Services Meltwater’s Delivery Services team is responsible for curating bespoke reports and managing key projects of our biggest clients. We deliver business-essential intelligence reports based on our keen analyses of various media outlets across traditional and social media channels. You will be supporting the Government Analyst team and working with a variety of government clients. Our core competency of high adaptability to client’s requirements comes from the unique team of individuals composed of diverse insights & analytical skillsets. What You’ll Do:
  • Must be a natural leader and a people person, someone who derives fulfilment by influencing others to be successful
  • Motivate, lead and develop a small team of individuals (Media Analysts) - mentor, coach and help them come up with new creative solutions
  • Lead team meetings and thinktank sessions, as well as delivering presentations and training
  • Be a culture champion - build and drive the overall culture and vision of the team by leading by example, while also nurturing the development and potential of each team member
  • Periodic check-ins and reviews with individuals, and also provide guidance and perspective on career-related topics
  • Responsible for servicing a small portfolio of clients, leveraging upon a high level of business acumen and client servicing skills
  • Collaborate across different teams and stay up-to-date on industry changes, to maintain an edge in proposing best-in-class media insights reports and deliverables for clients
  • Analyze data sets and review standard of reporting / project deliverables done by the teams, ensuring that reports are sent to clients within SLAs and in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
  • Have strong business acumen to make strategic decisions to move the business forward
Who You Are:
  • 2+ years' experience as a team lead or team manager, managing 4 or more people, alternatively running a large project team
  • Ideally with relevant industry experience in media insights / reporting & analytics / traditional or social media / digital marketing / media agencies & public relations / digital marketing / marketing & communications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong academic results
  • Must be residing in Singapore
  • Some knowledge of SaaS-based media tech and platforms, and media measurement KPIs
  • You are a leader with vision, someone motivated by the success of your team
  • Excellent leadership, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills – you have a successful track record influencing teams
  • Positive and energetic, able to cultivate strong camaraderie within a team and keeping morale high
  • Proactive with the ability to work on multiple projects with changing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment with minimum supervision
  • Creative and entrepreneurial, you apply critical thinking to solve business problems using data and analytics
  • Strong analytical and logical skills – able to translate data into actionable insights in the simplest and most concise manner, have an eye for detail and ask “what does this mean?” to the data
  • Exposure to statistical modelling and data mining techniques, and analytical tools and languages.
  • Detail-oriented - ensure data integrity, precision, and exercise vigilance in the analyses to arrive at correct conclusions.
  • Familiar with data visualization and dashboard tools, Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, etc.
  • Some familiarity with different research methodologies and basic analysis methods
