:Total Number of Openings 1Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Team Lead - Electrical & Instrumentation located in Jurong Island, Singapore through 15 October 2024 at 11:59 p.m. (Singapore Time).All interested applicants, please read the before submitting application.Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:Provides leadership and supervision to the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance group for safe and reliable execution of routine, preventive and break-in maintenance worksDevelops strategies to improve the E&I maintenance operational excellence (OE) performanceEnsures E&I maintenance plans and metrics are on track for continuous improvement in cost, productivity and work quality.Develops strategies and implement engineering solutions for improvements in equipment reliability and plant availability.Responsible for the annual Plant Turnaround (TA) budgeting, planning and scheduling for E&I as well as its quality and safe executionDevelops contracting strategy and participate in negotiation of contracts for maintenance services.Fosters positive, supportive and team-oriented working environment.Sets work direction and coach team members on individual and team performance.Builds E&I organization capability; supports competency and skills development of E&I personnel through training/development recommendations.Required Qualifications/Requirements:Degree in Electrical or Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum 10 years of work experience with minimum 5 years in leadership role in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industryStrong working knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and motor control systemsMust understand the basic instrumentation functions and their usage in the industrial environmentProven leadership skills in aligning, inspiring, mentoring and motivating a diverse work team comprising both company and contract personnel.Good interpersonal and communication skillsRelocation Options:Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.International Considerations:Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
