DESIGNATION : Team Lead (Loyalty Tech)

RESPONSIBILITIES
NE Digital is currently hiring a Team Lead to join FairPrice Group to drive digital developments in NTUC Link and the Chief Customer Marketing Officer (CCMO) corporate function. Loyalty Tech is the product development team for all things loyalty related in FairPrice Group. We are currently a team of about 15 people. Working hand in hand with NTUC Link, we seek to transform and simplify our loyalty offerings to provide even better value and convenience for all our customers. As Team Lead, you will be reporting to the Product Development Lead of Loyalty Tech and will be responsible for building organisation wide loyalty mechanisms and products such as omnichannel vouchers, lucky draws, gamified challenges to drive desired behaviour. We take a customer-centric approach in our product development and measure our success via business metrics. We work with modern technologies to develop our next generation loyalty systems. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Go and Java applications (primary language is Go, however there is some legacy Java code which needs to be maintained and eventually migrated to Go)
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Work with, communicate and manage stakeholders and their requests
  • Identify meaningful business, product or technical opportunities that can be developed
  • Build and lead a small full-stack team
  • Write and maintain test cases to ensure code coverage and quality
  • Write clean documentation


QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory requirements
  • At least 3 years of hands on experience in server side programming
  • Have good experience leading technical implementation of projects end to end
  • Knowledge of various design and architectural patterns
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools
  • Good understanding of the data structures and algorithms
  • Take pride in the work that you do and always strive to improve the status quo
Good to have
  • Familiarity with Golang
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Familiarity with frontend stack and any modern JavaScript UI framework (e.g. React, Vue, etc)
