Team Leader (fresh Food Processing) (fruit & Vegetable)

Job Description
:
The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of packing house assistants, and the following tasks:
- Overseeing the day-to-day supervision of the fruit and vegetable packing lines
- Daily production planning
- Inventory management for consumables
- Keeping track of incoming quantity/ quality of raw and finished goods
- Manage and housekeep the facility
- Ensure team compliance to in-house rules, workplace safety practices and hygiene standards
- Provide on-the-job training to new staffs on fruits/ vegetables quality checks and machine operating procedures
- Documentation, liaising with pest control vendors and other assigned duties
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline or GCE \xe2\x80\x98A\xe2\x80\x99 level/ Higher NITEC equivalent with relevant experience
- Hands-on and team player with experience in leading a small team
- Proficient in MS Office or G-Suite
- Applicants who have completed WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course preferred
- Applicants with relevant work experience in Food Manufacturing, Logistics/Warehousing, Packing House Operations, Supermarket\xe2\x80\x99s Fresh/ Frozen Department are welcomed to apply
- Meticulous and organised
- Fit enough to work in cold environment
- Able to work any 6 days a week based on shift timing including weekends and public holidays
- Work Location: Sunview Road
- Work hours: 6 days, rotating shifts
