Designation: Technical Consultant
Location: Singapore
In this role, you have the opportunity to serve as a consultant, including but not limited to, problem identification, scoping, system architecture definition / specification, advice, design, implementation, validation, verification, and activation / deployment and will be involved in the full spectrum of the solutions, from order acquisition to the technical delivery and installation. You will also resolve technical issues and offers proactive technical support, incl. on-site attendance in post go-live situations where remote problem solving is not possible as well as lead the implementation of technical value propositions and participates in customer requirement analysis and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Scoping, designing, building, deploying, implementing and / or integrating solutions
Fulfilling software implementation deliverables such as detailed design documentation, system build, configuration and testing
Analyzes the business, technical and clinical customer requirements to design, build / and or integrate the most appropriate solution
Based on customer requirements, services as a consultant to provide technical recommendations that best suit the environment
Mentors and trains customers to maintain their systems
Is a customer advocate and leverages insights to drive decisions
Resolves technical issues and offers proactive technical support
Document solutions to ensure that support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward development of solution
Contributes to the collective learning of Philips, seeking to share knowledge globally
Practices configuration management and version control
Is a key member of the implementation project and / or SSD team, fosters collaboration through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills and expertise
Drives continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on customer feedback
Conducts root cause analysis at the conclusion of escalations and initiates corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issue
Executes activities as described in the Philips Excellence Process Framework
Assesses and shares repeatable processes that can be leverages across multiple projects
Is an active and visible domain expert
Work closely together with SG Services & Solutions Delivery organization
Is an active member of the Global Professional Services community
Attends seminars and trainings session necessary to maintain an appropriate level of professional competence
Files required reports and consistently complies with all required Philips processes
We are looking for
At least >7 years of experience in a healthcare or IT related environment
Relevant certifications are desired (i.e. project management)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Window server administration, such as Windows Server Active Directory, and domain policy
Excellent knowledge of database skills, incl. SQL query, stored procedure, database storage management, back-up and restore
Excellent knowledge of virtualization solutions, such as VMWare, Hyper-V and Nutanix.
Programming knowledge, such as VB.Net, C#, and JavaScript as well as HL7 and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools is a plus, including SSRS, Qlik Sense, and Tableau.
Extensive knowledge of medical device integration with information system and patient monitoring systems, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators (as reflected in completion of formal vendor training) highly preferred
Knowledge of application development and topology is a plus
Knowledge of data warehouse is a plus
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues through resolution
Experience in managing the implementation of offerings and working in multi-disciplinary project teams
Excellent understanding of multiple technology solution areas with healthcare domain
Exposure to commercial contracting process
High competence in Microsoft Office applications
Good presentation, reporting and customer service skills
