Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Attend to user\xe2\x80\x99s requests and complaints via established Computerized Management Systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation of new air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems in new and existing facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications during the installation process.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all ACMV systems using the CMMS to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to reported issues and breakdowns, diagnosing problems and executing necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with external contractors when specialized services are required.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the energy consumption of ACMV systems and implement energy-saving measures to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
  • Recommend upgrades or replacements of outdated systems to improve energy efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements performed on ACMV systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices in all ACMV-related activities.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation as required by management.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to raise awareness about proper usage and maintenance of ACMV systems.
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in ACMV technology and share relevant knowledge with the team.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec in Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience in related ACMV or its equivalent work
  • Previous experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of ACMV systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with different types of air-conditioning systems, ventilation systems, and their components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to ACMV systems.
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools, equipment, and software for maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.
