The Technical Lead for Sustainable Energy will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions related to sustainable energy initiatives. The Technical Lead will work closely with the Eurofins team to identify market trends, drive new product development, and ensure the company\'s technical capabilities meet the needs of clients. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in the areas of renewable fuels such as Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME), Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO), Used Cooking Oil (UCO), Used Cooking Methyl Ester (UCOME), Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Vegetable Oils, and Technical Corn Oil (TCO) and have a strong understanding of chemical processes related to these fuels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical activities related to sustainable energy initiatives
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet the needs of clients in the sustainable energy space
  • Work with the Eurofins team to identify market trends and drive new product development
  • Ensure the technical capabilities of the company meet the evolving needs of the market
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the Eurofins team and clients
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in renewable fuels and chemical processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards
Secondary Scope:

The Technical Lead - Sustainable Energy will also be responsible for identifying market trends and opportunities in the field of sustainable energy. This will involve conducting market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry developments, including emerging technologies and regulations. The Technical Lead will work closely with the Eurofins sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for promoting Eurofins\' sustainable energy services and expanding the company\'s market presence in the energy sector.
  • Identify new technical opportunities and partnerships to expand the company\'s offerings in the sustainable energy space
  • Represent Eurofins at industry events and conferences to promote the company\'s technical capabilities
  • Develop technical content for marketing materials and proposals to support business development efforts
Qualifications
  • PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred, Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry
  • Strong knowledge of renewable fuels including POME, RBDPO, UCO, UCOME, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, vegetable oils, and Technical corn oil (TCO)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility
