Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the workshop assigned
Supervise students\' projects and provide technical supervision to students on the construction and prototyping of the machines and equipment at the Modelmaking Workshop
Provide technical supervision and guidance to support students on their project works, including the use of laser cutting facilities, to experiment and produce scaled and full- scale prototypes
Conduct induction classes on safety and machine and workshop usage
Maintain inventory of facilities and monitor usage of machines and equipment to users
Ensure users adhere strictly to rules and regulations pertaining to use of the School\'s facilities
Perform other ad hoc duties as required and assigned by the Associate Dean
Requirements
Minimum qualification of diploma in related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
Must be workshop-trained and possess 3D practical model-making skills
Comfortable working in a workshop space
Good working knowledge of materials such as wood, metal or digital printing and other manufacturing techniques
Proficient with software skills, especially in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Corel Draw and Illustrator
A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and guide students
