What You'll Do:

Plan and supervise all operation, inspection, maintenance, repair and improvement works to the Gas Transmission Pipeline and associated facilities such as metering, off take and line valve stations, involving cathodic protection system, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control equipment Supervise Technicians and contractors Plan and supervise all patrol activities of Gas Transmission Pipeline Monitor all third-parties working in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to ensure that it is protected from damages Enforce safe works practices in the Branch Issue materials, works orders for works to be carried out and prepare completion certificate for payments Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to achieve operation readiness Monitor and initiate action for the replenishment of essential spares as stock items Ensure proper records and filing of O&M works Assist in the preparation of specifications for calling of tender/quotation

What You'll Need:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines from a local Polytechnic Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous A team player with good working attitude and basic computer knowledge
