Job Description

What You'll Do:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Gas Transmission Pipeline and its associated facilities Plan and implement patrolling programs for the Gas Transmission Pipeline Control and monitor third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to prevent damages to the pipeline Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of pipelines and facilities Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness Supervise all Technical Officers and Technicians of the section Establish and review documentation and filing system Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Gas Transmission Infrastructure Lead and participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness Develop and manage the section's annual budget, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits Monitor expenditures within approved budget Perform standby duties outside regular office hours as required

What You'll Need:

Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from university recognized by PE Board Singapore. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
