Reporting to Manager External Maintenance Base (SIN), this role is responsible for ensuring all required regulatory compliance records are entered and validated into the MIS TRAX, and then archived in accordance with the CASA regulations.

Other Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Ensure all safety and regulatory compliance targets are achieved
  • Be a Safety Leader within Jetstar CAMO
  • Ensure adequate OHS resources are provided to implement and maintain the S.A.F.E. System and associated programs.
  • Demonstrate commitment and leadership to OHS by participating in meetings, inspections, promotions and other appropriate activities Encourage and promote the involvement of all employees in achieving a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Act with due care/consideration to safeguard own health and safety and that of others.
  • Ensure compliance with safe working practices.
  • Comply with all Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountability as detailed in Jetstar Policies and Procedures
  • Comply with all responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities as required by the Group management system standard and associated policies
  • Ensure any missing Technical/Flight Technical and Flight Logs are expedited daily.
  • Assisting the Team Leader in collating data for reports as required.
  • Perform regular internal QA audits of Technical Records entered into TRAX.
  • Escalate complex issues which impact on the completion of component changes.
  • Monitor the Pending Technical Records report and ensure component changes are expedited within the required 7 day KPI.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
  • At least 2 years experience preferred with Technical Records processing within aviation or similar.
  • Understanding of aircraft support systems including TRAX, AIRMAN, AIRNAV, ROCADE, AHM, TOOLBOX, MBF and Microsoft Office applications will be preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of software solutions.
  • Proven customer service skills \xe2\x80\x93 capable of identifying customer needs and resolving customer issues.
  • Ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process driven, with experience in constructing new process\xe2\x80\x99s to deliver business goals.
  • Highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement
  • Able to build effective working relationships, enjoy working in a team.
  • Proven problem solving skills.
