Description
Our client is a specialty chemicals company and am hiring for a Singapore-based Technical Sales Account Manager for their Lubricant Additives business to cover the Southeast Asia market.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to promote and sell our lubricant additives to existing and prospective customers in Southeast Asia through direct and distribution channels.
- Sales Strategy and Planning \xe2\x80\x93 conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and develop and implement sales plans.
- Account Management \xe2\x80\x93 build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and other stakeholders in the region.
- Business Development \xe2\x80\x93 identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
- Sales Performance and Reporting -track sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using CRM software and reports performance to the management
You would need to have a Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or a related field with at least 5 years of regional sales experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making are key success factors. You have proven experience in sales and account management in a relevant field such as lubes or lubricant additives. Given that this is a regional role, you should also be willing to travel.
