This position is in Cargill's food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies. Job Purpose and Impact The Technical Service Specialist will collaborate with a team to execute the business plan to meet business goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development opportunities with existing and new customers through the deployment of Cargill ingredients, technologies and Cargill cocoa and chocolate solutions. You will interact with customers through the provision of technical information, knowledge and know-how on uses and application of Cargill ingredients. The role will be based at the Cargill Innovation Centre, Neuros Lab in Buona Vista, Singapore. Key Accountabilities . Establish and cultivate effective relationships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones by conducting customer visits, presentation and direct discussions with customers. . Participate with sales and marketing leaders on customer and account planning . Provide support to sales team and customers on existing product recommendations, technical-related problems and other enquiries . Work cross functionally to drive the development of new technologies and develop new products for launch campaigns. . Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. . Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications . Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and collaboration skills . Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience . Minimum of five years of related work experience . Other minimum qualifications may apply Preferred Qualifications . Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise . Extensive knowledge and experience in food application . Has successfully delivered business-related results, (e.g. implementation of new technology, productivity, quality improvement or growth) by driving technical project implementation . Excellent organizational / project skills, including time management and priority setting
