Job Purpose and Impact

The Technical Service Specialist will collaborate with a team to execute the business plan to meet business goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development opportunities with existing and new customers through the deployment of Cargill ingredients, technologies and Cargill cocoa and chocolate solutions. You will interact with customers through the provision of technical information, knowledge and know-how on uses and application of Cargill ingredients.

The role will be based at the Cargill Innovation Centre, Neuros Lab in Buona Vista, Singapore.

Key Accountabilities

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Establish and cultivate effective relationships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones by conducting customer visits, presentation and direct discussions with customers.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Participate with sales and marketing leaders on customer and account planning
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Provide support to sales team and customers on existing product recommendations, technical-related problems and other enquiries
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Work cross functionally to drive the development of new technologies and develop new products for launch campaigns.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation and collaboration skills
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Minimum of five years of related work experience
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Extensive knowledge and experience in food application
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Has successfully delivered business-related results, (e.g. implementation of new technology, productivity, quality improvement or growth) by driving technical project implementation
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Excellent organizational / project skills, including time management and priority setting
