Technical Superintendent Tankers
Job Description
:Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Maintain vessels to the requirement of Classification Society, Flag state, Port State, Oil majors and state regulations that the vessels are plying.\xc2\xb7 Execute planned maintenance system and ensure compliance.\xc2\xb7 Approve and monitor repairs, prepare purchase order and works order.\xc2\xb7 Prepare dry-docking / repair specifications and monitor work progress.\xc2\xb7 Maintain vessel allocated budget and meet operational standard as required by Owners.\xc2\xb7 Carry out internal audits, risk assessment, incident investigation and closing out report.\xc2\xb7 Attend to all inspections by Class Society, Flag State, Port State, Underwriters and Oil Majors.\xc2\xb7 Liaise with Terminal Representative, Charterers, Agents, Operators and Fujairah Freezone Official.\xc2\xb7 At the branch office, to be the first point of contact for vessel matters.\xc2\xb7 Assist Crew Department in coordinating crew matters.RequirementsRequirements\xc2\xb7 COC Class 1,2 or 3 holders with sailing experience on product tankers\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years experience ashore as a Technical Superintendent in tanker companies\xc2\xb7 Familiar with Oil Majors vettings and inspections requirements\xc2\xb7 Knowledge in PMS, SMS, Flag and Class requirements\xc2\xb7 Must be willing to travel abroad on a rotational basisClarence KhohR1552376Clarence KhohR1552376
