-The Opportunity:Adecco is collaborating with a company which specializes in precision dicing, grinding, and polishing for semiconductors and electronics. It delivers innovative technologies globally, supporting advancements with cutting-edge equipment, specialized processes, and extensive customer support.As a Technical Support Engineer, this role manages machine modifications, translate technical specs (English-Japanese), liaise with R&D, coordinate with stakeholders, and handle ad-hoc tasks.

• Work location: Serangoon
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm (Flexi arrangement for start-end time)
• Salary: up to $3,700 + Fixed Bonus (3 months) + VB

The Job:

• Manage machine modification requests, encompassing both hardware and software, from internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate technical specifications and requirements accurately between English and Japanese.
• Serve as a liaison with Japanese R&D teams and factories to ensure customer requirements are effectively met.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to ensure the timely delivery of machine modifications.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

The Talent:

• Proficiency in Japanese (minimum JLPT N2 level) is mandatory.
• Minimum diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or related Engineering disciplines; a degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
