Job Description


Summary of Role: We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist who will be responsible for supporting projects and services. The candidate must ensure the timely delivery of team services while aligning with agreed SLAs and processes. They will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality ITP services, adhering to operating policies and IT security protocols, and upholding system integrity and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Support production security projects, focusing on vulnerability fixes.
  • Required skills: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x, Ubuntu 18.04/20.04/22.04, Ansible.
  • Resolve or coordinate issue resolutions with internal teams or vendors.
  • Communicate and provide status updates on issues to business users, management, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely reporting, tracking, and follow-up of issues.
  • Support Disaster Recovery Tests, Live-play, and Business Continuity activities.
  • Escalate issues to management and/or permanent control promptly.
  • Contribute to the implementation of operational control policies and procedures.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
  • Contribute to the reporting of incidents in the Incident Management System.
  • Ensure timely resolution of audit recommendations.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical experience in operating systems:
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x
  • Ubuntu 18.04/20.04/22.04
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in handling and contributing to complex IT projects.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of coding, applying, and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks.
  • Systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Power Query/Power BI skillset for reporting.
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Preferred knowledge and skills in Low Latency or Electronic Trading Networks.
  • Availability to work on weekends and attend incident calls outside office hours.
  • Ownership mindset, hands-on approach, and comfortable interfacing with stakeholders.
  • Service-oriented, customer-focused, positive, committed, and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to plan, test, and execute production changes following Change Management processes.
  • Documentation experience with audits, reports, IT procedures, etc.
