• To perform regular software upgrade and patches for all mid-range software to maintain their versions are kept at adequate supported levels.
• To provide day-to-day operations, administration, tuning and capacity management of midrange system to ensure good performance.
• To ensure all mid-range system is operating in a stable and effective environment to meet with all Services Level Agreement.
• To resolve all midrange system incidents and issue within agreed timeline.
• To perform operation fault analysis and provide recommendation for improving the production batch window
• To develop and maintain procedures for administration and monitoring of all midrange systems.
• To develop and maintain Disaster Recovery procedures for identified servers.
• Conduct Operational Acceptance Test before project roll out to production environment to ensure setup are completed according to requirement.

Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Able to work independently as well as be a team player.
• At least 5 years of working experience primarily technical support on Linux, Storage and back-ups and/or Windows Server Platforms.
• Possess strong knowledge and administration experience in Server Operating System - Windows 2016/2019 and/or Red Hat Linux
• Configuration and administration experience in backup and recovery - NetBackup/Networker/Cohesity
• Intermediate knowledge in Active Directory Domain administration
• Experience and knowledge in the following areas are value added:

• Data Centre management
• Solaris, HP-UX, AIX
• AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

• Pre-sales support skills is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong operational process management expertise, experience of ITIL or other IT operations frameworks
• Able to multitask, works under pressure and at the same time deliver high quality result against tight deadlines.
• Committed to deadline and with good communication and inter-personal skills and willing to work over-time if required.
• Candidate must be flexible with standby requirement.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written in English.
