Job description

Performs surface preparation of landing gears and components prior to painting by degreasing and masking as necessary.
Spray primer and various paint finishes to parts or assemblies.
Rough and finish aircraft parts using various types of sandpaper and hand sanding machines to provide surface for paint adhesion and smooth appearance.
Mixes hardener and filler. Applies hardener and filler to unfinished areas that need smoothing and contouring.
Use painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework or touchup as necessary.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety and compliance procedures.
Perform regular checks on equipment and maintain them in good condition.
Active participation in 5S program and continuous improvement projects.
Participate in problem solving
Participate actively in contributing to HSE development and improvement.
Any other duties as assigned.

Candidate skills & requirements

Minimum NITEC in Mechanical or related disciplines.
Able to apply basic math and use some measuring instruments.
Highly accurate and detailed along with precision needed to accomplish the role..
Good and consistent attendance at work.
Observe good punctuality during working hours.
Disciplined and self-motivated with emphasis on quality work. "Doing the first time right" attitude.
