Responsibilities

  • Execute the standard repair processes properly for specific aircraft engine parts within the cell by applying the current approved technical data and standard work processes.
  • Utilize machines/equipment/tools to carry out standard repairs.
  • Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work.
  • Actively support and participate in EHS, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Assist the Operations Leaders and Assistant Foremen in their day-to-day operations to achieve production targets and corporate goals.
  • Carry out SAP transactions and make necessary changes to works order in SAP.
  • Carry out proper documentation.
  • Perform cross-functional jobs within the department.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related discipline.
  • At least 2 years work experience in disassembly/assembly/inspection/repair in the aviation industry.
  • Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Possessing skills in machining/CNC programming/shot peening/CMM, will be an added advantage.
  • Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess a good and positive attitude and has high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Always looking to continuously improve.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and multi-task.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
  • Experience in aircraft engine workshop practices and module operations procedures will be an added advantage.
