Purpose of the Job Responsible for actual execution of Project/After Sales works onsite. Installation, Fixing, repair, modification, upgrading works in related to container handling equipment in acco Purpose of the Job Responsible for actual execution of Project/After Sales works onsite. Installation, Fixing, repair, modification, upgrading works in related to container handling equipment in accordance to assignment by Superior. Job Content and Context Implementation of tasks assigned by Superior Ensure tasks is carried out in quality manner in accordance to time frame agreed. Proactively report to Superior on issue or problem faced during works and seek for solution. Work closely with teammates and superior by communicating work status and progress update. Carried out works in accordance to design standards. Provide feedback and useful data for spare parts, tools and equipment requirement. Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards, statutory requirements, relevant codes of practice, manufacturers' specifications, environmental requirements and enterprise procedures, and implement throughout the work procedure. Potential hazards are identified and report immediately. Work area is prepared in accordance with work requirements and site procedures. Repair and resets / adjustments are carried out, mindful of effects on, or unnecessary loss of, other equipment. Attend to works at 24 hours on call basis. Final job inspection is carried out and permits relinquished in accordance with the work plan. Work is completed and appropriate personnel notified in accordance to requirements Work area is cleared of waste, cleaned, restored and secured in accordance to procedures Plant, tools and equipment are maintained and stored in accordance with site / enterprise procedures Work completion details are finalised in accordance with predefined procedures Work History At least three years' experience in container handling equipment engineering field. Experience in component installation in particularly container handling equipment. Experience in project/after sales for container handling equipment. Hands on experience in Electrical/Mechanical component modification and upgrading. Repair and maintenance on container handling equipment Skills/Qualifications/Training Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with more than 3 years' experience, or secondary education with more than 5 years' experience in related field. Knowledge of workplace OH&S in relation to equipment, material and personal safety requirements Able to interpret mechanical drawing, service/repair manuals and or diagrams / schematics Basic welding skills is added advantage Communicating effectively with others Accurately interpreting inspection results Team player, confident and pro-active Articulate and focussed Enthusiastic and flexible
