Key Accountabilities

• Oversee and implement risk mitigation programs, controls and governance with the Cloud Engineering Services (CES) team
• Report on issues and actions, execute governance programmes to ensure that actions are closed timely
• Lead monitoring, assessing, and reviewing technology risks and incidents in partnership with cloud applications and infrastructure teams
• Adopt a data-centric and analytical approach to root cause analysis and identify preventive measures, lessons learnt, and process improvements
• Engage industry partners to facilitate audits, and enhance risk management, controls, and mitigation programs
• Coordinate audit engagement and regulatory-self assessment to ensure that responses to information requests are on time, accurate and relevant
• Investigate and negotiate on issue findings with auditors and stakeholders while ensuring that actions are relevant, appropriate, and achievable
• Investigate, escalate, and report on incidents and control failures
• Plan and manage CES business continuity management (BCM)
• Perform risk review of new initiatives, projects, and regulatory changes and request
• Provide advisory to stakeholders on risk management practices
• Contribute to risk strategy and governance relating to cloud technology and its services
• Add value to cloud technology risk management and mitigation by watching trends and surfacing risk insights and best practices
• Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders across global risk functions and various technology groups to ensure adherence to bank policies, local regulatory and legislative requirements, risk management frameworks and programme requirements
• Promote a strong risk and control culture among internal business and technology stakeholders
• Organise and conduct risk awareness programmes or training where required

Requirements

• At least ten years of technology risk management experience or equivalent in information security, operational risk, and compliance in a large financial organisation
• Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security or related discipline from a recognised institution
• Sound knowledge of APAC regulations on technology risk management, cloud computing, business continuity, privacy, outsourcing management, and other existing regulatory requirements and industry standards preferred
• Communicate risk and control findings experience with key stakeholders concisely, develop recommendations, and provide accurate metrics and management reports
• Experience driving risk management programmes, control awareness and culture in a technology environment
• Knowledge of cloud technologies is an advantage
