• High business acumen with experience in problem solving focused on the complexities of customer IT environments and modernizing them for AWS cloud environments
• Extensive experience in IT consulting or technical customer facing roles
• 7-10 years of business development and enterprise solution selling experience
• Experience in leading data center or cloud migration projects, specifically including migration/modernisation of Enterprise applications and business critical, tightly integrated workloads to AWS
• Prior Leadership experience in leading engineering or technical teams. Breadth of experience across the Enterprise IT in multiple of the following areas: Infrastructure architecture; Database architecture; Application development; Data Center Operations; Data lakes; Analytics and data insight
• Breadth of expertise in private and public Cloud Computing (i.e. AWS platform), technologies and architectural best practices
• Expert level technical acumen; ability to understand the customer or partner IT landscape, identify opportunities and overcome any technical obstacles.
• Ability to interact with senior leadership (e.g. CxO’s) within a customer or partner organization

As an experienced business development professional you will lead, develop and execute go-to-market plans and be the ‘market maker’ for large-scale cloud transformation, migration and modernization in the Asia-Pacific region. Your responsibilities will include finding strategic partners, engaging cross-functional teams, and driving business and technical relationships with customers to create significant data and application modernization opportunity pipelines. You will enable the AWS Sales teams to more effectively drive their day-to-day interactions with key prospects. You will work with AWS teams to develop and promote cloud transformation, migration and modernization best-practices, launch customer pilots and programs. You will work with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption while addressing issues, and requests from the field.
Your deep domain knowledge transformation across multiple industries and the Public Sector, and experience in enterprise technology architecture and delivery will enable you to identify the workloads and use cases where AWS can add value. The ideal candidate will possess a commercial background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CxO/VP level of companies, as well as having the technical depth to easily communicate the benefits of cloud computing to the C-suite, IT architects, application analysts, and enterprise security and compliance teams. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of large/Public Sector businesses, and be deeply familiar with complex, legacy IT environments including applications, middleware, storage, networks, information security, and operations. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and thinking big is a must.
