To assist the collection manager with the collection and exhibition works with regards to the artefacts
The assistant manager/collections is also required to do stock take of all the artefacts that are on display at the galleries at multiple locations and/or off-site stores. The staff is also needed to assist with the collection of loans and donations.
To issue and safe-keeping of all receipts for delivery and collection of artefact or heritage materials
To arrange freight and insurance
To make arrangements to collect donations and/or purchases
To make arrangements for hotel, flight, transport and per diem payment for couriers, artists, guests/VIPs (where necessary)
Prepare and submit all procurement requests
To file procurement documents, gift and loan agreements
To apply and collect permits and licenses for artefacts/display items for exhibitions
Job Requirement:
Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
Able to plan and manage projects, and have a strong sense of accountability and sense of urgency
