What the role is:The operating environment of the Public Service is undergoing fundamental and rapid change. The issues we face are complex and multi-faceted, which impact the way the Public Service operates and organises itself. To prepare the Public Service for these changes, we have begun the journey towards Public Sector Transformation (PST). There are currently more than 100 hotlines across the Whole of Government (WOG). The Contact Centre team in ServiceSG aims to work with agencies who own these hotlines to streamline and integrate these contact centres, especially those that provide related services. The goal is to establish a central ServiceSG contact centre that can address the queries of citizens across over 400 citizen related services, serving as an \xe2\x80\x9coutsourced shared service\xe2\x80\x9d for selected agencies. The team will also support surges in contact centre call loads for key agencies during peak periods, and act as the crisis call centre in a national pandemic or crisis.What you will be working on:[Key Responsibilities]: \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing administrative tasks, including coordinating meetings between PSD and its vendors and agency partners; \xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting Deskheads in compiling monthly reports and verifying invoices; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Updating and monitoring partner agencies\' monthly cash flow, as well as following up on payment milestones and recovery statuses.; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Supporting Deskheads in monitoring critical service levels for agencies during peak or surge operational activities; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support for other ad hoc assignments and projects assignedWhat we are looking for:[Competencies Required]: Our ideal candidate possesses the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in MS office software \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong sense of initiative and a positive attitude \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and is team oriented. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal and organising skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Attentiveness to details and nuances \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to meet tight deadlines and is comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to learn and the ability to adapt quickly to changing and challenging situations Prefer candidates with at least two years of working experience in any industry.
