The key areas are as follows: Annual Budget Exercise \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and collate submission for Revised Estimates and Proposed Budget Exercise \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and communicate approved allocated budget to SBs and Divisions Process Fund Disbursement and Monitor Budget Utilisation \xe2\x80\xa2 Process monthly development fund requests from SBs \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare monthly Budget Utilisation report \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform virements requests and pass journals in NFS@Gov Others \xe2\x80\xa2 Take on other ad-hoc finance duties as assignedWhat we are looking for:You should be a Singapore citizen : \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and a good team player who can work independently; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to multi-task and prioritise work; \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency with Microsoft Excel will be advantageous; \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong written and oral communication skillsAbout Ministry of Transport:The Mission of Ministry of Transport is to develop Singapore\'s land, sea and air transport sectors so as to enhance our economic competitiveness and quality of life in a knowledge-based economy. MOT oversees the development and regulation of the following sectors: \xe2\x80\xa2 Civil Aviation and Air Transport \xe2\x80\xa2 Maritime and Ports \xe2\x80\xa2 Land Transport Besides providing an efficient and cost-effective transportation in Singapore, it also strives to make Singapore an international civil aviation and maritime centre for the region. The ministry sets the strategic and policy direction while operations and regulatory works are carried out by the statutory boards under its charge. There are four statutory boards which are established by Acts of Parliament: the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Public Transport Council (PTC). The ministry also oversees the operation of the Transport Safety Investigation Bureau (TSIB).
