Due to our global expansion plans, we are looking for a seasoned Cloud SRE/DevOps Engineer to ensure the high-level of cloud service availability to curb the ever-growing demands across the globe. He/she should possess the ability to independently handle international computing work orders, with a strong understanding of host kernels and systems, and the ability to operate and maintain computing control plane-related modules, so as to complement the overall technical operations and serviceability.
- Responsible for analyzing and solving virtualization difficult problems, forming methodology, and improving the team\'s technical capabilities
- Responsible for improving the usability of the virtualization platform through technical means and process systems
- Responsible for analyzing the inefficiency of the business workflows, proposing optimization and improvement plans and promoting implementation
- Responsible for the planning and construction of Tencent Cloud\'s virtualized operation and maintenance platform, and continuously improve the efficiency of operation and maintenance;
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree or above in Computer Science or its equivalents
- More than 3 years experience in Linux kernel development
- Proficient in linux and windows operating systems, and have a deep understanding of system performance related issues
- Familiar with mainstream virtualization technology principles (such as kvm, xen, hyper-v, lxc), with practical experience in troubleshooting difficult virtualization problems
- Familiar with TCP/IP protocol, understand SDN related technologies, and be able to locate network anomalies in Linux virtualization environment
- Good at shell, python or perl; proficient in common commands such as awk, sed, grep, strace, tcpdump, gdb
Preferred experiences:
- Rich experience in debugging kernel faults
- Have kvm troubleshooting experience; proficient in mainstream virtualization technologies such as kvm/docker
- Experience in submitting patches to the kernel community.
- Tencent Cloud Practitioner Qualification Certificate or equivalent qualification certification are given priority;
