TD Securities Test Center of Excellence (TDS TCoE) covers a specialized area dedicated to high-quality application and solution delivery. It currently is a 100-member team across Toronto, Singapore and India working on the latest tech in quality engineering space. The team leverages DevOps Toolset and is invested in industry leading open-source tools in UX/ API/ Mobile/ Cloud/ Big Data testing space. There is a clear Vision and Strategy for TCOE supported by the CIO and leadership team. All of our testing activities focus on system integration, business acceptance, performance, operability and deployment verification. Leveraging latest Machine learning models and visualization tools TCOE provides relevant quality metrics to stakeholders to make decisions to avert risk. There's room to grow in all of this. : We are looking for a candidate with strong working experience in Financial domain which includes Capital markets, Equities, Investment management & Fixed Income. Relevant experience on Trading Platforms, Murex, Onyx, Java, Jenkins, Ant is required. Front and Middle office applications, Investment advisory billing application, Bonds Analytics Applications, Pre & Post trade Analytics applications, Risk applications is desired. Reporting to the VP, Testing the Test Manager will be primarily involved in engaging with project and platform teams to solution their testing demands. The individual will be working with extended team of domain and technical experts in Toronto, Singapore and India to build a robust quality engineering service for the applications under test. The individual needs to understand the technical landscape of the application under test and guide the team towards a robust solution. Applicants must be able to demonstrate knowledge of skilled testing techniques, methodologies and tools. Key responsibilities include: Collaborate with application teams acting as front-door for QE engagement leveraging domain expertise and test competency. Drive QE solutioning keeping context of up-stream and down-stream applications to have a comprehensive and scalable nature. Stakeholder Management including MD and Directors with good presentation skills. To be able to evangelize testing and its importance in SDLC and represent TCoE at leadership table. Engage with TLT (Technology Leadership Team) and their directs to initialize test engagements, provide status updates, suggest value adds and engage in continuous improvement of QE offerings. Build and participate in sharing capital markets domain knowledge within TCoE Work with various projects and CoE partners and Design architects to understand the security standards, risks and ratify solution security design Review project detailed solution architecture and align QA automation framework design ensuring it meets requirements Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with emerging industry trends, new technologies and best practices in the external market that can contribute to delivering effective client solutions Create and support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest. Comply with mandated policies and procedures while contributing to procedural improvements Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units Develop team in core competencies and personal development Continuous improvement - set performance standards to help drive improved performance and quality outcomes Work effectively and collaboratively across geographically distributed teams Job Requirements: In-depth knowledge of testing industry trends and tools testing techniques, methodologies and best practices 5+ years of experience in capital markets domain in Front office, Middle office and Back office applications 5 to 8 years of experience in Murex Trading Platform is a must 3 to 4 years of experience in Onyx automation of MLC, Simulation, Bulk Events, Comparators etc., is a must 3 to 4 years of experience in Onyx API's - Trade Repository API's Business Object Repository, Limit Authorization. Murex EoD Reporting, Accounting Validations, other downstream feeds Hands on experience in Unix, Lean FT and Java Domain Knowledge - FX Derivatives and Payment Gateways Working experience in a geographically distributed team including nearshore & offshore vendors Prior experience as a SDET/ developer will be advantageous. Superior communication skills (verbal and written) proficiency with producing executive level presentations comfortable communicating with senior leadership team and large groups of people Experience working with Agile methodologies, databases (relational/ nosql/ bigdata), Cloud infrastructure, Dev-Ops toolchain, Test management tools like Jira/ ALM/ Conflunece, no-code tools like UIPath, Alteryx, Tableau etc. Understanding of Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Ant, DB2/SQL, Maven, Groovy Join in on what others in TD Technology Solutions are doing: Inspire a positive work environment and help champion quality, innovation, teamwork and service to the business.
