Job Description
The Therapy Assistant is responsible to assist the therapist in the supervision of patients and treatment implementation.
\xe2\x80\x8bDuties and Responsibilities
- Assist the therapist by supervising and setting up equipment for patients during therapy
- Assist the therapist in the treatment implement by recording and keying of daily patient statistics as well as services
- Transport the ward patients when required
- Check and update inventory
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment as well as devices by ensuring that the equipment / aids are kept properly after use
- Ensure that the proper maintenance and filing of referral forms
- Adhere to all safety measures, infection control procedures involving patients, staff and the environment
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by management or supervisors
- Candidate must possess at least a WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or equivalent and has undergone the clinical attachment assessments as part of the course requirements.
- Possess at least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred and entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
