The Director of Total Rewards is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of Celestica's compensation and benefits programs including base salary, incentive compensation and benefits. Partners with senior leadership to ensure that rewards program design, communications and administration support Celestica's short-term and long-term business objectives. Manages, coach and develops a team of rewards professionals to meet the business strategy needs.

Responsibilities

  • Drives the strategic development, design, implementation, communication, maintenance, and compliance of all applicable compensation programs to align with the company's Total Rewards philosophy and business objectives.
  • Identifies, develops, and delivers strategic compensation programs that meet and anticipate the internal needs of the organization while monitoring external trends
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders
  • Work in partnership with global HR colleagues in the regions and/or in global HR department to implement global/regional projects at a regional/site level.
  • Develops compensation budgets, prepares policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation.
  • Ensures programs are aligned with best market practices. Effectively communicates and leads consultation with key stakeholders
  • Evaluates the market data and provides consultation on new hire offers, retention bonuses, and promotion recommendations.
  • Perform compensation-related M&A or organization change work as necessary - due diligence, retention, integration, etc.
  • Direct, mentor and coach the rewards staff
  • Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with leaders and managers across the organization to ensure our compensation structure supports our strategic objectives.
  • Educate leaders, managers and employees on the company's Total Rewards philosophy, processes, and programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or related field
  • 15+ years of Performance & Rewards experience, with at least 6+ years in people-leadership roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a high growth organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Asia regional pay and benefits regulations and market trends
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and influencing skills.
  • Strategic focus with strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent English language verbal, written and analytical skills.
