1. Role Description:

This position plan organise coordinate and control the operations of establishments that sell goods on a retail or wholesale basis. They are responsible for the budgets staffing and strategic and operational direction of shops or of organisational units within shops that sell particular types of products.

2. Specific Responsibilities:

  • Validate stocks\xe2\x80\x99 technical specifications
  • Manage company\'s procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage supplier qualification, selection and approval processes
  • Manage supplier value analysis, pricing and performance reviews
  • Approve purchase orders and contracts within delegation of authority
  • Approve payment to suppliers
  • Manage new supplier application processes and procedures
  • Formulate the organisation\'s QA policies, strategies and objectives in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Endorse QA monitoring parameters and checks
  • Oversee all QA-related activities and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle major customer complaints and associated product recall activities
  • Establish processes for the effective review of QA policies and objectives
  • Deliver organisation wide updates on new or amended legislative or regulatory requirements and their impact on QA
  • Communicate QA performance data to stakeholders
  • Develop strategic vendor management plans
  • Devise risk mitigation strategies to pre-empt and address potential risks associated with the vendor relationship
  • Establish key roles, duties and performance expectations of vendors
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors based on trust and mutual understanding
  • Evaluate overall performance of vendors to review and endorse decisions on future contract renewals, changes or termination
  • Develop provisions for dispute resolutions"
  • Translate risks metrics to inform trade strategies, capital allocation and risks limit decisions
  • Formulate trading strategies
  • Define and establish risks appetite for trade business unit based on organisation\xe2\x80\x99s risks appetite framework
  • Evaluate key industry challenges that are shaping markets
  • Establish clear and specific standards of ethical values, attitudes and behaviours that are expected from trading
  • Establish controls to safeguard organisation\'s positions
