Our client is a container shipping line. Due to some international internal moves they are looking to hire a Trade Manager to join them in Singapore.
As part of the trade team you will play a key role in the business. With P&L responsibility for an intra-asia trade you will be involved in all aspects of trade management:
- P&L responsibility for the trade
- Strategising on the trade to optimise revenue and costs
- Pricing
- Space management
- Working directly with customers including occasional international travel
- Co-ordinating with internal colleagues including sales / marketing, various country agencies, operations
The ideal person for this role will have around 5+ years experience in trade management at a container shipping line. Less experienced candidates can be considered for Assistant Manager or Executive level role.
