Position Purpose :

Provide Application support for Financing, Credit, Derivatives and Securities applications used by Marketers,
Traders, Middle Office, Back Office, Business Management, Clients and other operation functions of the bank

The Credit, Rates and Repo booking applications are used in all locations where Global market is implemented.
Spread between 12 countries in APAC with hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, there are close to a
thousand users to take care of. User satisfaction, System stability, problem and change management are daily
challenges with high volume of demands to take care of constantly. Part of the follow the sun support model, the
team is not only responsible for the APAC region but also for the EMEA and AMER regions.

Join an APAC support team with 1 staff in Singapore, 1 staff in Hong Kong and 1 in Japan. The APAC team
belongs to a follow the sun team with counterparts in India, Montreal and London.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities :

Technical

• Support Front office trade capture systems for derivatives products globally\xcd\xbe
• Ensure feed and reconciliation downstream for FO, MO and BO systems\xcd\xbe
• Monitor batches for the availability of the bank\'s official PnL and cash\xcd\xbe
• Investigate issues and report to global team for stabilizing and improving the systems\xcd\xbe
• Analyze the local business IT needs to provide tools and solution to comply with their requirements\xcd\xbe
• Provide local development and analysis for solutions that can be handled locally\xcd\xbe
• To understand the latest changes/issues, and raise up Asia concern if any.

Relationship

• Train users to help them using the systems used within BNP\xcd\xbe
• Help users to book and process trades\xcd\xbe
• Understand business need and provide/propose feasible and quick solutions to business
• Build a good relationship with business and provide regular updates to business located in Japan, Korea,
• Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Europe and America.
• Working closely with Global IT team in London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, India and more.

Governance

• Manage incidents, problems and changes to comply with APS standards\xcd\xbe
• Direct contribution to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework\xcd\xbe
• Take care of knowledge sharing with the global team

Contributing Responsibilities

• Early shifts from 07:00am SIN time, on a rotation basis
• Bank holiday cover, on a rotation basis
• Handovers from New York and to London
• Perform weekend work (DR drill, week end maintenance and releases), on a rotation basis

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Highly recommended but not mandatory

Technical

• Strong SQL: PL/SQL , Oracle
• Knowledge of using Windows
• Development : Excel macro, VBA, Python, C++, java
• Monitoring: Autosys, Geneos, Dynatrace
• Just be aware of existence of used technologies: FIX, TCP/IP, TIBRV, MQSeries and other middleware,
• Python, Java

Behavioral

• Highly motivated
• Quick learner, self-starter , and able to work independently with good teamwork
• Strong desire to investigate and resolve issues in the short term (workaround / setting up procedure) and
• longer term (participate to the definition of proper fix)
• Genuine interest in supporting eCommerce Client Facing systems

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• 2-5 years\' experience in client facing / front office application support
• Fluent in English
