Trade Support Team is responsible for all the trade related supporting activities from assistance of traders, communication with customers and within departments for payment arrangement, price confirming and accounting administrative support. You are expected to execute assigned duties in ensuring timely and accurate execution of transactions and necessary various risk management activities and journal entries.
THE ROLE
Liaise with internal customers to make arrangements trade related transaction such as confirmation of price fixing, payment arrangements, inventory management, etc. Maintain accuracy of trade data stored in trading system through input and reconciliation. Record trade data and ensure accuracy of various reports/calculations. Check on Account Receivable / Account Payable. Maintain proper filing of documentation (hard and soft copies). Coordinate structuring business process. Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with trading and accounting standards and other compliance requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree 2-5 years of relevant experience in trade settlement, trade support or accounting Working experience in Oil and Gas industry Possess basic knowledge on international commodity trade, i.e. INCOTERMS, trade finance, etc. Work outside of normal business hours will be required at times, such as month-end closing. Proficient in MS Office applications. Fresh graduates who have keen interest working in a back office of a commodity trading firm can be considered.
