Job Description
Title: Trade Mark Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on trade mark rights, protection and enforcement
- Strategize and manage international IP portfolios for clients
- Represent clients in connection with trade mark prosecution and contentious proceedings before the Registry
- A law degree with 5 years post-qualification experience in a Commonwealth jurisdiction, preferably in IP
- Good written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in other languages will be advantageous
- Familiarity with local and international trade mark laws and practice and intellectual property in general
- Must be meticulous, well-organized and comfortable working with tight timelines
- Must be able to work well under pressure and be self-motivated
- Able and willing to contribute significantly to business development and building the client base
