CLIENT

A global agricultural merchant focusing on the origination, handling and merchandising of grains and other agricultural products from Europe and the Black Sea region to a wide range of private and government customers in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Junior Trader, who has a couple of years of agriculture trading under his/her belt, and seeks a more agile firm to develop with.

• Responsibilities
• Business Development in relation to Grain Businesses in the Asian market
• Trading, Marketing and Operating for Grain and Feed products in the Asian Market.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of customers\' contacts and make contact with potential clients to develop new business prospects
• Strategize, implement and execute trading transactions to maximize profit or minimize loss
• Market research and sharing information within the group companies.
• Provide timely and accurate deal recap in system and prepare daily and monthly report Requirements:

IDEAL TALENT

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics or equivalent
• With 2 years of experience in Grain and Feed Trading
• Ability to negotiate commercial terms and conditions
• Analytical skills and the ability of logical thinking to understand fundamentals and make a right decision in a complex market which comes with a lot of moving factors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Extensive knowledge in trading operations, activities and freight chartering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good to have

• Experience in physical price hedging and credit risk management
