Job Description

• Ensures truck attendance of Company-owned units through proactive collaboration with the Fleet Maintenance Team in ensuring 100% availability of resources prior to dispatching and load assignment.
• Report cases of any technical glitches of delivery units during loading as well as truck breakdowns while in transit or unloading at the point of destination. It shall be the responsibility of the Transport Coordinator to convey the problem to the Fleet Maintenance Team immediately.
• Coordinates either with Route Planners and/or Principal's Point Person in securing the details concerning fleet requirements and route plans.
• Assess trucking capacity versus demand and determine immediate contingency measures to fill in the gap or shortage.

• Ensures that the trucker drivers are properly informed of the set delivery schedules in order to carry out the targeted date/s of deliveries

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course OR at least has 1-2 years' experience and exposure of inbound and outbound Logistics Operations and Distribution
• Computer literate: Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power point, SAP ECC, SAP MRP, SAP WMS, and other optimization tools
• Ability to propose system enhancements based on business need and to translate conceptual framework of business models into workable algorithms.
• Customer Focus; Actively collaborates with the cross functional group to support company order fill rate goals, volume and value targets to generate high service level and satisfaction
• Understands business process involving his/her role mandate and the immediate impact it will cause in the total end-to-end business chain
• Takes initiative, innovative, hardworking, and possesses strong leadership qualities
• Willing to be assigned in Mandaue City, Cebu.
