Roles & Responsibilities
The Tunnel Manager/ Senior Tunnel Manager is directly reporting to the Project Manager (PM) for the following:
- Overall in-charge of TBM operation and bored tunnel construction.
- Plan, schedule and manage tunnel construction effectively.
- Review geological data ahead and prepare the TBM operation parameters.
- Review of TBM actual operation parameter, muck reconciliation and instrumentation readings.
- Prepare tunnel progress report and look ahead programme.
- Attend daily and monthly meeting with the Engineer and QP(s)
- Responsible for cost effective work force and resources optimisation.
- Liaise with client representation and other authority's agencies
- Ensure TBM operation, tunnel construction and safety procedures comply with the regulatory standard and requirements.
- Minimum 12 years of tunneling experience after tertiary education with an Engineering degree, with at least 10 years of experience in managing tunneling works for large scale and complex tunneling projects.
