About the role

As our UIUX Lead, you will be leading the UIUX team & taking over the responsibility for all design aspects of our products. In close collaboration with our Product Manager and Engineering Team, you will be working on building a killer interface that our customers love. This role entails a healthy mix of people management, stakeholder management, project management, design, research, and high-level thinking that is needed for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Own and develop the design vision and practice, across all associated businesses and client touch-points including web, mobile, marketing and social media
  • Define and maintain all UX and UI patterns and standards whilst iterating and evolving the internal design system to support the delivery of the product roadmap
  • Lead and document the design processes with your team of peers across product and technology to ensure experience consistency and design excellence across all platforms
  • Be the challenging voice of the client, constantly focused on the client's needs and experiences.
  • Proactively run ideation and design thinking workshops to drive and support product discovery processes and brand implementation
  • Drive the research, analysis and feedback to deliver actionable insights that continuously improve customer experience and business value.
  • Over time build a world-class team of designers, mentor and coach them, and foster a culture of creativity and building a great product
  • Deliver industry-leading experiences that resonate with customers and drive business outcomes across sales, conversion funnels, and engagement
Who You Are
  • 8-15 years' UI/UX, Product Design experience across Financial Services, FinTech, eCommerce, Technology or digital-native businesses
  • Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design for mobile and web apps
  • Proficiency in UX software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision and Figma.
  • A portfolio that showcases outstanding designs, including a strong foundation in typography, interaction design and visual design that reflects best practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent design skills with a deep knowledge of branding, prototyping, interaction design, UI design, UX writing, UX research, and information architecture for digital products.
  • In-depth experience crafting and continuously improving digital products that delight clients.
  • Demonstrable experience of Lean Agile ways of working - SCRUM, Kanban, Lean etc.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, influence and lead the digital product strategy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Bonus: experience and/or a genuine interest in digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain and other distributed ledger-related technologies.
