Job Profile Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders by driving, assessing and reviewing projects and enhancements relevant to underwriting automation, as well as supporting functions within the underwriting team. You will also need to assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the risk and exposures of potential clients. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to Underwriting Consultant, New Business.


:

• Drive, assess/testing and review projects and enhancements relevant to underwriting automation.
• Help to collate feedback and areas of improvement for underwriting automation in the aim of providing better customer experience.
• Provide support, data analysis, documentation maintenance relating to underwriting automation or New Business.

• Assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies.

• Well versed in regulatory guidelines & compliance standards

• Process end-to-end new business transactions in the system
• Be involved in other ad hoc projects.

• Self-motivator with initiatives and able to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment

• Possess a customer-centric mindset, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
• Meticulous and analytical, confident in problem solving and decision making

• Good team player
• Proficient in MS Office
