Job Description

:

• Manage and maintain Unix servers, including AIX and Red Hat Linux through installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and shell scripts for automation of system management tasks.
• Oversee middleware platforms suck as IBM WAS, JBoss and MQ including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain configuration management and automation tools to streamline system administration tasks.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve technical issues.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect system and data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Unix Administrator with a focus on AIX and Red Hat Linux Administration.
• Familiar in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible for automation and system management tasks.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as IBM WAS, Jboss, and MQ
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus
• Relevant certification such as Red Har Certified Engineer (RHCE) or IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
