Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze final project costs, including materials, labor, and additional expenses incurred during the construction phase.
• Prepare and submit final accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess project performance against initial budgets and timelines.
• Identify areas of cost savings or potential overruns for future projects based on insights gained from completed projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve any outstanding financial issues or disputes with contractors or suppliers.
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to stakeholders based on the analysis of completed project data.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and final settlements.
• Participate in project debriefs and lessons learned sessions to improve cost estimation accuracy for future projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to post-construction quantity surveying.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in post-construction phases for LTA and PUB is an advantage
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, final account procedures, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Professional accreditation or membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
