Roles and Requirements

  • Design and execute user research projects to address topics ranging from the specific and targeted (e.g. usability testing a checkout flow to solve user pain points) to the strategic and broad (e.g. concept testing a new service offering to identify product market fit)
  • Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of research, from designing the approach, to recruiting participants, conducting research, and analyzing results
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and product designers to define and execute a research roadmap that's aligned with the company's priorities
  • Championing a user-centric approach within the whole organization by bringing along cross-functional stakeholders, while balancing business needs
  • Collaborate with our Data team to combine qualitative and quantitative perspectives to even more deeply understand our users
  • Help us manage, organize and draw insights from the stockpile of qualitative data we have from different sources (e.g. previous research, support tickets, social media, etc.)
  • Help us define research best practices and improve our various tools and processes relating to user research
Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience doing UX research at a product company, preferably a small to medium sized startup
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills (both verbal and written/visual)
  • The superpower to distill clarity from complexity
  • A love for learning - you don't know everything, but you have the potential to learn most things quickly
  • Bonus: prior experience in the f&b industry is a plus!
Benefits:
  • Hands-on action: Sink your teeth into opportunities that'll deliver both impact and meaning to the Chope customer experience.
  • Autonomy & ownership: Show up, work it, and strut your stuff! Take on challenges, hone new skills, and adopt a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Open & collaborative culture: Build networks and expertise across functions and markets, with insightful pow-wows and valuable feedback.
  • Flexible work: Make work revolve around life, not the other way round. Boost efficiency with flexible arrangements that support your well-being and needs.
