Are you a skilled IT professional with a passion for Citrix technologies and VDI? Our client in the banking industry is seeking a dynamic VDI Administrator to join the team

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently deliver project-related tasks to meet or exceed project timelines.
• Create essential technical documentation, including admin guides and user guides.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, promptly identifying and escalating project-related issues.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse support and project teams.
• Assist the VDI team in the maintenance and management of VDI and VDI infrastructure as directed by team leaders and managers.
• Play a crucial role in handling incidents and fulfilling requests under the guidance of team leaders and managers.
• Maintain strict compliance with bank policies, including IT-related policies.
• Adhere rigorously to IT security policies and procedures.
• Exhibit excellent work ethics in interactions with colleagues and staff members.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3 years in Citrix-related technologies
• Proficiency in Active Directory Management
• Extensive experience with XenDesktop and XenApp
• Ability to work independently and execute assigned tasks with minimal guidance
• Thorough knowledge of Active Directory concepts, including installation, multi-forest domain management, and decommissioning tasks
• Familiarity with third-party AD management and Audit tools is highly advantageous
• Exposure or experience with AD domain migration tasks is a plus
• Proficiency in troubleshooting issues within a multi-forest AD infrastructure
• Solid understanding of AD Group Policy Objects (GPO) in a multi-domain multi-forest AD environment
• Competence in creating/modifying PowerShell scripts for task automation, reporting, and integration with automation platforms
• Sound knowledge of AD-integrated DNS and DHCP, with prior management experience
• Awareness of Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktop integration with AWS is a bonus
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent postgraduate diploma in an IT-related field
• Certifications: Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (minimum requirement); Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (preferred). Additional certifications in Microsoft, VMware, and cloud technologies are advantageous
