Responsibilities:

Supervising a team of accountants responsible for vessel accounts.
Oversight of the Accounts Payable (AP) team handling vessel payments.
Timely review and submission of Financial Statements to various owners.
Analyzing the financial position of vessels, monitoring cash flow requirements, and identifying financing needs early on.
Ensuring regular review and timely collection of receivables.
Identifying client accounting requirements, addressing gaps, and developing processes or tools to meet client expectations.
Compiling scheduled reports for Full Management vessels for owners, in collaboration with the Commercial Manager.
Processing supplier invoices and payments promptly, and closely following up on debtors and creditors settlements.
Approving payments, conducting meticulous bank reconciliations, and verifying the completeness and accuracy of daily bank reports.
Having a comprehensive understanding of the Company\'s Management System.
Executing special tasks and projects assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Requirements:

Completion of a university degree and/or obtaining a Professional Accountancy qualification.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a ship management company or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of vessel accounting.
Proficient in Excel.
Strong leadership, managerial, and communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate within a team.
